Evan Kaloudis advises LND and BTCPay Server users not to assume safety after upgrading, to destroy and recreate macaroons and macaroons.db, to refresh auth mechanisms for other LN backends, and to move funds from hot on-chain BTCPay wallets. Held as dated incident-response guidance from a named Lightning developer following the BTCPay Server disclosure. The recommendations are the poster's own and are not independently verified here.
