Francis Pouliot rebuts claims that the volunteer Bitcoin Red Team effort is a psyops or distraction, describing the work as organic and stating that he has personally received and delivered vulnerability reports. He argues that Bitcoin open-source projects are currently the low-hanging fruit for exploiters because the code is public and the payoff is immediate. Pouliot runs Bull Bitcoin, whose own services were disrupted in the same week. Held as dated commentary on the Red Team narrative during the incident response.
