Lyn Alden argues that hardware wallets emerged from the Mt. Gox collapse and remain effective, that multi-sig reduces dependence on any single manufacturer, and that the incident has prompted community members to perform AI-assisted analysis of hundreds of code repositories for responsible disclosure.
