Neil Jacobs reports attending a Bitcoin meetup in Miami where he was told attendance was about two to three times higher than usual, calls the COLDCARD incidents tragic, and argues they have reignited a sense of purpose and a determination to build better products. Held as a dated example of the constructive strand of community reaction, against the anger and vendor-viability threads registered around it. The attendance figure is second-hand within the post itself - the poster says he was told it - and neither it nor the causal link to the incident is verified here.
