OrangeSurf advises BTCPay Server operators to completely refresh macaroons and macaroons.db, refresh auth strings for other LN backends, and migrate any hot on-chain wallet created in BTCPay. Held as dated incident-response guidance from a named contributor during the BTCPay Server exploitation week. The recommendations are the poster's own and are not verified here.
