But isn't it the case that you wouldn't need to backup the descriptor in a 2 of 2? But, it doesn’t make a difference if your private keys are exposed. The coldcard situation is not that the wallets were hacked. The problem is they generated private keys using mnemonics that were way too easy to guess.
