I think the security is still the best. Seed generation is a separate issue

ColdCard's badly written firmware caused the largest heist of Bitcoin in the entire history of hardware wallets, with losses of around $150 million and still rising. The firmware fix caused some users' devices to brick. The CEO has spent the last week on Xwitter deleting his old posts. What more is there to say?
