I realized that we cannot longer leave our bitcoins and come back in a decade, that's might be a plan for some of us but i don't think is a good idea. Staying tuned to the news is the best option, and i think the best process for all of us is re-generating a new seed phrase with the "rolling-dice" method + passphrase + cold storage .

Bitcoin is maturing because of issues like this.

Question: is Electrum鈥檚 and Sparrow鈥檚 entropy actually trustworthy?

    Copilot says yes.

Both rely on the operating system鈥檚 entropy folder (Linux at least), which is based on mouse movement, idle time, background processes, opening/closing apps, even the steps involved in downloading the Sparrow .deb file.

All of that contributes to genuine, high鈥憅uality entropy no?

Yes, those are good, however that will be a hot wallet, so you shouldn't use it to store large amount or for long term.

Excerpt only. The complete copy is held offline and backs quotations on this site. The original publication remains the canonical public source.

How to check this yourself

The excerpts and plain unified diffs above show the text this project held and how it changed. To verify a quotation, compare it against the page itself or against the Internet Archive's copies, which are independent of this project.

Complete captures are held offline rather than mirrored here, so this page shows diffs and excerpts. If a quotation is ever disputed, the full copy can be produced. Ask.
