+The good thing with Trezor is that it's one of the few you shouldn't need authority to trust. It's open source, and if you are serious to verify their entropy, you could go there and test it yourself. I don't have any authority, and i didn't personally test it myself, but the fact they are fully open source, very widely used and scrutinized, and nobody has hacked it yet, is enough to give me some confidence in them.

+So the point I'm making is that the community needs to stop trusting claims of people that do not have technical skills making technical claims. Open source means nothing if it isn't reviewed. Nobody hacked coldcard until they did. Lack of hack is not validity. To be clear I'm not making any claims regarding the efficacy of trezor. I'm challenging you, and others to change mindset.

+It was more of a logical claim. Trezor is used and scrutinized to much more widely than Coldcard, it is actually open source and people are working with their code. That already should mean something. Could something still happen? Sure. But the likelihood that it would be Trezor, given everything I see, seems pretty low. They even developed their own state-of-the-art open-source chip to rival secure element and fix its problems, while being totally open and inviting everyone to "try crack me i bet you can't" instead of partially relying on obscurity like the SE. They really look like they know their shit and are very serious about security more than the other HW makers.

I use a platform that allows me to purchase BTC every 60 minutes and when the balance reaches a certain level, it automatically withdrawals to a taproot address on my nano x.

 Taproot is very easy on sparrow.
 
 I’m kind of curious how many people that lost all their BTC on coldcard were using taproot addresses. Probably very few. The bots that were sweeping people clean were probably looking at their native segwit addresses.

 The seed still has a lot more entropy than a passphrase unless you make that passphrase really huge. If you really don't want to rely at all on a Hw entropy would would use the dice. Though I'm confident that Trezor has a pretty reliable entropy already.
