Luckily this didn’t happen to me after updating to 5.6.0 on my mk4. 
Is anyone going to trust coldcard to generate a new seed even with dice rolls?

I'm glad you managed to recover the device. So it seems the device holds some energy after being unplugged.

Have you been impacted by this the RNG issue, or you never used CC RNG? (Paranoid Guide). Or. you used it but thanks to the passphrase you could migrate to a new wallet?

I'd but only if I wanted to generate a spending wallet. with let's say, 5% of the BTC savings. And only if this code gets review by some developers and looks fine.

Coinkite needs to release 5.6.1 due to this bug from OP and who knows how many more. So 5.6.0 is not recommendable right now.
