Sanket1729 argues that the actual entropy for Mk4 and later devices is much less than 72 bits because the 72-bit figure assumes security from correlated timer fields, and offers a napkin estimate of almost 50 bits. Held as a dated independent technical analysis of the Mk4 entropy bound. The estimate is the poster's own and is not independently verified here.
