Zach Herbert says he wants to explain why the Coldcard entropy bug may have happened rather than what happened, and begins a timeline of events with a July 2020 post by NVK. Held as a dated primary statement from the CEO of a competing hardware-wallet vendor on the origins of the incident. The timeline and the inference it supports are the poster's own and are not verified here.

This post is registered as evidence and has a locally held capture. The original remains the canonical publication.
